There are three user roles: Administrator, Scheduler, and Operator

Administrator

Access Level: Full system access

  • Create, edit, and delete all bookings

  • Manage system settings (locations, clients, transport companies, job types, statuses)

  • Access all checklists and operational data

  • Send client and transport notifications

  • View and manage all users

  • Override checklist completion requirements when marking jobs as "Completed"

  • Configure notification templates

Typical Users: Warehouse managers, operations managers, system administrators

Scheduler

Access Level: Booking management and operations

  • Create, edit, and delete bookings

  • Manage job schedules and assignments

  • Complete all checklists (arrival, loading, departure)

  • Send client and transport notifications

  • View all bookings across locations

  • Override checklist completion requirements when marking jobs as "Completed"

Typical Users: Schedulers, coordinators, supervisors, customer service

Operator

Access Level: View and update assigned jobs only

  • View assigned booking details (read-only schedule)

  • Complete arrival, loading, and departure checklists

  • Upload photos and provide digital signatures

  • Update job status based on checklist completion

  • Cannot edit schedules, locations, or booking times

  • Cannot override checklist requirements (must complete all fields to mark as "Completed")

Typical Users: Warehouse operators, loading dock personnel
