Completing the Start of Day Checklist

Learn how to complete a Start of Day Checklist in the Radaro Driver App.

The Start of Day Checklist is completed once per day to ensure that Drivers are meeting safety and compliance requirements If the Start of Day Checklist is enabled by your Manager, you will not be able to begin your shift until you have completed and submitted a response to all compulsory sections.

Where questions have been marked as a compliance question, an incorrect answer may result in you being locked out from beginning your shift, please contact your Manager to discuss getting a lockout override.

Step 1 - Start shift

From your Radaro home screen, select “Start shift” and you will be presented with the Start of shift checklist prompt. Select “Let’s start” to begin.

Step 2 - Complete Start of Day Checklist

You will need to complete all compulsory sections of the checklist and some questions may require you to attach additional details, such as photos, barcodes or free text comments.

Once you have responded to all questions, simply select “Complete” located at the bottom of the checklist. The “Complete” button will remain greyed out until all questions have a response.

If your responses are all compliant, you will be able to begin your shift. If you have answered incorrectly to one or more compliance questions, you will be unable to start your shift until you contact your Manager to discuss getting a lockout override.

If a lockout override is provided by your Manager, you will receive an in app notification and be able to start your shift.

 

Step 3 - Begin your first job

Once you have completed the Start of Day Checklist, you will be able to begin your shift and your first job.

 

Start of Day Checklists can only be completed once per day, so you will not be prompted with this checklist again until the next day.
