Add, Re-sequence and Move Optimised Jobs

Editing jobs within published routes.   Add more jobs, re-sequence and move jobs within route optimisations.

From time to time, there are last minute jobs needing delivery, particular customers that need prioritisation or vehicle breakdowns that require changes to optimised routes..

Once a route has been planned within Radaro, under Manage Jobs, there are three options to change and update the route.

  1. Refresh - allows you to add unassigned jobs into the routeManage Jobs once Published
  2. Reorder Sequence - change the sequence
  3. Move Jobs - move some or all jobs to a different driver
  4. Furthest Distance First

Refresh

To add jobs to an existing route, simply click, Manage Jobs, Refresh and a list of available jobs will appear.  Click the job(s) you wish to add, followed by the Refresh button.

Reordering Jobs

Reordering jobs within an already optimised route may help in times where a customer may want to be first in queue for any particular reason. Or a certain item must be unloaded from the driver's truck first.

After selecting Reorder Sequence, you will see green arrow buttons (the reorder icon) appear to the right of each job in the optimisation.

Click and hold the “reorder” icon, and drag the job up or down to where you would like to move the job to.

Once completed, select “Finish” to save your changes.

Moving Jobs Between Drivers

After selecting Move Jobs, you will see check boxes appear to the left of each job in the optimisation.

Select the job or jobs which you are wanting to move to a different driver and select “Move to”

A new screen will appear providing options of available Drivers you can move the selected jobs to.

Select the appropriate Driver and confirm by pressing the Move button.

Once this has been successfully saved, the updated route will be displayed.

Furthest Distance First

In certain environments, it's preferred to start deliveries at the furthest point, and work back towards the base.  To reverse the route sequence so the first jobs is at the furthest point, simply click the Furthest Distance First option.
