For jobs that require you to stop at another location before navigating to the end customer, for example picking up stock for delivery at an offsite warehouse, you can now navigate to multiple addresses within the same job using Radaro.

There are a number of modular features that you can while completing a pick-up, including pick-up confirmation and barcode scanning. Below you will find the various ways you can successfully complete a pick-up depending which modular features have been turned on for your operations:

Regular Pickup

Pick-up-Edit

Start by selecting the job you wish to complete in your Radaro app, unless a job has already been assigned to you. Make sure you double check the details of the job and ensure you can complete the job. If a pick-up address has been entered for this job, you will be asked if you would like to navigate to the pick-up location or the customer when you press “Start”.

Select “Pick-up” and navigate to the Pick-up location. You are able to push this address out to your navigation app by selecting the maps icon. Once you have picked up the goods from this location select “Picked up”.

Pickup Confirmation

Similar to when you complete a delivery confirmation, you can complete a pick-up confirmation to capture evidence that the pick-up was completed.

Begin the pick-up as normal. If this feature has been turned on by management, you will be automatically prompted to add confirmation files once you select “Picked up”. Radaro allows you to take up to 5 high-resolution photos, a signature or any additional comments.

Once you have uploaded your completion files and selected “Attach”, you can then swipe to the right and see that now the delivery address card is red and you can select to contact the customer or you are able to push the address to your desired navigation app. If you wish to complete this job later you can close the job by pressing the “X” on the top right of the card and can continue with another job or another pickup. If you are completing the job now, double check the job details. Once the delivery has been completed press complete. If a pre-inspection is required complete it by pressing “Pre-inspection”.
