Identifying & Completing Concatenated Jobs

Completing concatenated/grouped jobs follows the same process as regular jobs, with the added benefit of being able to complete all jobs at one time if appropriate.

Identifying Concatenated Jobs
  • After starting your shift, from the Home screen, swipe up to see the days jobs.
  • Your jobs will be listed and any concatenated jobs are indicated by showing the number of jobs within the single delivery point.

Like single jobs, if you click on the job you will be able to see the specific details.

For a concatenated job, you will be see all the individual jobs that make the group, and you can click each to see their specific details.

  • The jobs tab will show you all your individual jobs.
  • If a job is part of a group, you will see a number next to the customer name and if you click on the job, you will see Part of Group.
  • Clicking on Part of Group will show the Group Details page as above.

Starting a concatenated job
  • From the Home tab, click on the job, and when ready to commence, click Start.
    This will start all jobs within the group.
  • From the Jobs tab, if you are looking at an individual job and click Start, it will start that job only, not the entire group.

Completing concatenated jobs

The standard process applies however there are additional options if the completion status of the individual jobs differs.

  1. All jobs are successfully completed – Select complete and follow the standard process. In this circumstance, one Proof of Delivery (POD) will apply to all the individual jobs.
  2. If individual jobs are successfully completed, however a different completion code is required, select the individual job, follow the standard completion process.  This completes that one job only, allowing the other jobs to be subsequently completed with the appropriate codes. In this circumstance, multiple Proof of Delivery (POD) will apply to the respective individual jobs.
  3. If one (or more) of the individual jobs cannot be successfully completed, select the job, and then choose Fail and follow the standard process to fail a job.  The other jobs in the group, can then be followed as above.
