To provide transparency and visibility across the last mile, Radaro has been designed to automate a range of customer communications and to minimise the need for manual intervention by Customer Service teams and Drivers/Service Technicians.
However, there are circumstances where Drivers/Service Technicians need to be able to update customers outside of the standard communications.
In particular, for deliveries in high-density areas, a Driver/Service Technician may have several deliveries within a 2-15 minute radius so being able to advise that they are on their way, prior to commencing the job, allows the customer more time to prepare for their arrival.
With this in mind, Radaro has introduced the Driver Initiated Customer ETA feature.
From the Driver App, Drivers can choose an ETA window (from as little as 10 minutes, up to 1 hour) and trigger a preset message (customisable by management) before or while a job is In Progress.
If you are interested in learning more about Driver Initiated ETAs and how this workflow can be integrated into your operations, contact your Radaro Account Manager or a member of the Radaro team at support@radaro.com.
