Completing Departure Checklist

This SOP outlines the steps to complete the Departure Checklist for a job. Completing this checklist will primarily be done by Operators actively working on the loading dock. 

Key Steps

Step 1: Access the Job

  • Navigate to the home screen of the system.

  • Click on the job you will be working on.

Step 2: Access the "Departure Checklist"

  • Scroll down to find the "Departure Checklist" section and expand it.

     

Step 3: Complete the "Departure Checklist"

  • Manually select all relevant items from the checklist.

  • Manually enter the departed time or click the "Now" button to auto-populate the current time.

  • Attach at least the minimum number of photos required. You can add up to 10 photos.

  • Input the "Driver" name

  • Input the "Operator" name

  • Click "Save" to finalise the "Departure Checklist".

Step 4: Confirm "Departure Checklist" Completion

  • Verify that a green checkmark next to the "Departure Checklist".

  • If all tasks have not been completed on the checklist, an orange circle will appear next to the "Departure Checklist".

  • Note: the colour of the job will change from darker blue to green on the calendar to provide a visual queue that the job is now in the "Complete" phase.

Step 5: Update Job Status if Necessary

  • If there are outstanding items, go to the "Job Details" section.

  • Change the job status from "Completed" to:

    • "Completed needs follow up" or

    • "Completed Partial".

Cautionary Notes

  • If there are outstanding items, ensure to update the job status appropriately.

  • Always double-check that both the driver and operator have signed the checklist before saving.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Familiarise yourself with the system interface to navigate quickly.

  • Use the "Now" button for faster entry of departure time.
