Driver Arrival Confirmation
Industrial deliveries and collections often take place at large distribution centres, manufacturing plants and warehouse facilities where a standard address does not accurately represent the actual service location.
In these environments, GPS geofences can be an unreliable indicator of when a driver has truly arrived on site. Similarly, newly developed estates, business parks and large industrial complexes may have incomplete or inaccurate address data, making precise location identification difficult.
To overcome these challenges, Radaro provides the Arrived button.
How It Works
When the Arrived feature is enabled for your account, drivers can manually confirm their arrival once they have reached the actual service location.
Selecting Arrived:
- Captures the driver's precise GPS coordinates at the point of arrival.
- Records the true arrival time for accurate on-site time calculations.
- Improves the accuracy of arrival reporting where geofence-based detection is unsuitable.
Pickup and Delivery Support
The Arrived button is available for both pickup and delivery legs of a job, providing consistent arrival tracking across the entire workflow.
For integrated environments, the Arrived event can also be sent via webhook, allowing external systems to:
- Update customer or site location information using the captured GPS coordinates.
- Improve the accuracy of address records over time.
- Record precise arrival and on-site duration for operational reporting and performance analysis.
